I am appalled by what I found in my couch today while looking for a missing Leapster cartridge. Am I really that bad?!? Actually it's not me. It's my kids!!! (One perk of having kids is that you can blame a lot on them, but this is actually the truth!)
I have always thought that blogging is such an awesome way to keep a journal (for those of us too much in a hurry to write). Especially... so that one day when my girls are moms in their 30s they can feel like they "knew" me in my 30s. This would also help combat the grandma amnesia of thinking that my kids were completely perfect and life was always a walk in the park. If my kids could really know my deepest thoughts, my daily life, my struggles, they wouldn't feel so freakish when they will be going through a lot of the same things. With that being said, I thought one day I would sit and print off all of my blog entries. Sounds like a fun day huh? Well there's a company that has made this easy, affordable and beautiful. It's called Blurb. They provide a service that links your blog (text and pictures) into a software where you can edit, upload and order a bound book. I decided to give it a try and publish my 2006 blog entries. I was thinking this would cost a fortune since it was 150 pages. I paid only $40! The quality is very nice. I now have history bound and ready to serve its purpose!
