Photo Class for April

It's back by popular demand. Here are the details:

• Monday, April 16th at 7:30 p.m.
• Location: my home
• Light snacks, dessert and beverages will be served.
• Bring your camera, camera manual, notebook, pen and questions.
• Cost: $30 per person
• Call 616-669-2220 or email me to reserve your spot.
• Payment is due at the time of your reservation (check or credit card).
• Maximum of 12 for the class. I currently have 5 spots available.
• Class will cover - elements of proper exposure, camera settings and terminology, lighting, and composition.

Hey Steph!

I really enjoyed your class! It sparked a new hobby for me!

A couple of questions:
1. Could you email me the names of the books you recommended? I found the Nick Kelsh books at the library, but I couldn't remember the other ones.
2. When the big tax return comes back, I will be investing in a new camera. I've researched a little bit, and am looking at the Canon Rebel xti and xt. Which would you suggest for a beginner, who will probably never be in the photography business? Or, do you have any other suggestions?
3. I was wondering about purchasing the xt model, and possible purchasing an additional lense. Which lense would you suggest? I was looking at the 17/85 (I think).
